UCLA REMAP

Center for Research in Engineering, Media and Performance

Alejandra Rios

Sklar Entertainment Innovation Fellow, 2022.

Alejandra is a graduate student in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program at UCLA, focusing on transportation planning. Her interests include transportation access and equity as well as environmental justice, and she also works on transportation policy and travel behavior research.

Before Alejandra came to UCLA, she worked for a micromobility startup, where her love for active transportation grew. Alejandra hopes to leverage her background to promote cyclist empowerment through placemaking and creative expression, and to create safer spaces for cyclists in Los Angeles.
