Chenni is currently a second year graduate student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at UCLA. She received her bachelor’s degree from Fudan University in Shanghai, China in 2009. Since Fall 2009, she has been a graduate student researcher at the UCLA Networked and Embedded Systems Laboratory (NESL). She joined the Center for Embedded Networked Sensing (CENS) and REMAP in Fall 2010.
Since then, her research focus has been on the instrumented environment applications development based on Named Data Networking (NDN), one of the future internet architecture research projects funded by the National Science Foundation.
Chenni’s research interests include embedded systems, networks, machine learning, and data visualization. Aside from her engineering background, she is also very interested in art and music. She enjoys painting and playing the violin, and is excited by ideas/projects/places where technology meets art.
