Out the Window was an innovative initiative that engages youth and community-based artists in writing and producing impactful videos and location-based banner images about their lives and neighborhoods for closed-circuit broadcast on the LA Metro bus system. The program was implemented with a seed grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
Out the Window is a collaboration of UCLA REMAP, LA Freewaves, Public Matters, and Echo Park Film Center—with TransitTV.
