Software Engineer.
Jeff has been a staff software engineer for the Named Data Networking (NDN) project since 2013. As an undergraduate, he studied computer science and electrical engineering at MIT. His graduate work was in microrobotics and automation at the Biomimetic Millisystems Lab at the University of California, Berkeley .
Jeff’s industry experience includes software architecture, API design, coding and release management for a commercial cryptography library, managing and diagnostic engineering for an electronics design team developing electric vehicle components, and creating tool automation and a cleanroom production tracking database system for an ISO-compliant manufacturing facility.
At REMAP, Jeff’s focus is on developing networking libraries under a common public API for C++, JavaScript, Python and Java, as well as maintaining coding standards and development guidelines for deploying software releases.
