UCLA REMAP

Center for Research in Engineering, Media and Performance

Jessica Tan

While a student at both Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Singapore) and the National University of Singapore, Jessica was a multiple-term intern with REMAP. She assisted in IMLab’s publicity efforts and participated in the development of plans for the Los Angeles State Historic Park. With other interns, she coordinated the production of the Interpretive Technology Concepts pamphlet for the Park. She was also a web and graphic designer for the NSF-funded documentary Recoding Innovation. Singapore’s Media Development Authority generously sponsored her initial five-month attachment, and she returned during an overseas exchange to continue to work on the Center’s multiple websites.
