UCLA REMAP

Center for Research in Engineering, Media and Performance

Tyler Schwartz

As an intern, Tyler’s work at REMAP focused around the development of the interactive Welcome Pavilion for the Los Angeles State Historic Park. A transplant from New York City and TFT student, he concentrated on new media and nonfiction storytelling, and also produced several short-form narrative works, including documentaries. Some of Tyler’s work as an artist at that time centered on developing a unique method of documentation in order to examine the process of learning an instrument. (He was recording his own progress with the violin for presentation on the web.)
