UCLA REMAP

Center for Research in Engineering, Media and Performance

UCLA/Cisco Metropolitan WiFi Research Network

With the support of Cisco, and in collaboration with California State Parks, REMAP installed a 25-node wireless network covering the 32 acres of the Los Angeles State Historic Park and two outdoor areas of the UCLA campus. This infrastructure supported the Remapping LA project, as well as research on network architecture for participatory sensing.
